sanity.

Building the skills to navigate change without losing your mind.

Chaos is proof of change.

We are living in a time of rapid and large-scale change and it’s creating a lot of chaos. Our organizations and teams are getting caught in the whiplash of the destabilization and it’s impacting our bottom lines (and our sanity).

What can we do about it?

We train.

To navigate the natural chaos of change, we have to develop the skills to respond and adapt without manufacturing more chaos. In our training, we build the skills that keep us from losing our orientation (and our minds) as we weather the storms of change.

The trainings will help your team:

  • Identify the chaos

  • Orient team around clear objectives and outcomes

  • Develop new rhythms for a long-term competitive advantage

External chaos tends to activate three key areas in an organization: brand, operations, and teams. To be most effective, the training sessions require vulnerability, honesty, and a desire to be a part of the change. You know, like therapy.

You know you need Brand Therapy when your messaging no longer reflects what you do, your culture is misaligned with your values, and your marketing is selling an aspirational version of your product or service. We work through a comprehensive plan to establish consistency in messaging that is rooted in reality and aimed at the future.

You know you need Ops Therapy when the brand is steady, the team is aligned, but your structures are busting at the seams. Of course! How are our previous systems supposed to hold all of this? We will identify which systems are causing the most chaos and develop a clear pathway towards simplifying, adjusting, or altogether rebuilding to withstand continued and future growth.

You know you need Team Therapy when there are silos, everyone seems to have a different idea of what the goals and priorities are, and the environment feels more like walking on eggshells than a team sport. We work together to make sure everyone is heard and set clear expectations for how we move forward together towards a shared vision.

Not sure where to begin?

The Sanity Map is a diagnostic for visionary leaders who can feel the chaos building but can't quite name where it's coming from. It will give you the clarity to see whether the chaos you're facing is proof of life, or something you and your team may be manufacturing along the way.

Takes about five minutes to complete.

Meet Krysta

Who better to help you navigate the natural chaos of change than someone who’s spent 20 years in the environment built to eat it for breakfast: startups.

Krysta Masciale spent the first half of her career in marketing and branding. She ran a branding agency for seven years before transitioning into a CMO role at a tech startup. Building brands from the inside taught her to think in systems. After more than a decade in branding, she moved into operations roles where she served as the number two to founders across social impact, non-profit, and creative industries.

Her framework was built as a roadmap for visionary leaders and their teams and is thoroughly outlined in her latest book How Not To F*ck Up Your Startup.

The Book

How Not to F*ck Up Your Startup is a field guide for the messy middle, when everything feels urgent and almost nothing actually is. Through four phases of growth, Krysta Masciale shows founders and their teams how to distinguish the chaos that signals necessary change from the chaos they're accidentally creating themselves.
